This is the first of my large format drawings mixing story and image. The source material was from a photograph that caught my eye on the internet. The story is based on ancedotes that I've heard from various people I've met working in the hostessing industry in Japan. Me being me the story takes a darker more sinister edge, how much is reality? Well, I can't really say, but take it from me reality or truth is much uglier in my view. Mind you good luck trying to read it.
With this one I've been my boldest with coloured writing and gave myself a serious migraine trying to write the story in yellow. Can't say I'll be doing that again quite frankly. So please take note this is the only one to have part of the story written in yellow and will be a one of a kind. The fox is here, sitting tastefully between the girl's legs. This one is again experimental with the writing style, take note that I'm now beginning to mix how the writing forms around the image. In places the writing is now hugging the figure and creating a pleasing warping affect, this is something which develops further in future pieces, most notably in Orange nude and Man with Kitchen paper tied around his head.
